We collect only what we need to make wax@alarma work. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We are not in the business of your personal information — we are in the business of reminding you to wax your chain.
Account data — your name and email address when you register.
Strava data — when you connect Strava we receive your athlete ID, access tokens, and activity distance data. We read your rides to count kilometres. We never read your personal performance data, heart rate, power or segments.
Bike data — the bike names, wax dates and thresholds you set yourself.
Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, browser type). Kept for 30 days, then deleted.
We use your data to send you wax reminder emails. That is the entire purpose. We do not use it for marketing, profiling or any other purpose. We do not share it with third parties except Strava (to fetch your rides) and Brevo (to send your emails). Both are GDPR compliant.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time. You can disconnect Strava at any time from your settings page. To delete your account entirely — email us and we will remove everything within 48 hours.
